Information You Ask Betula to Remember
If you ask Betula to remember information for you, we may store that information so your assistant can recall it in future interactions.

When you ask Betula to communicate with another person or organization, we may process information necessary to complete that request, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and information communicated during the interaction.
Technical and Usage Information
We may collect information about how the Service is used, including device and browser information, IP address, system logs, performance information, feature usage, and diagnostic data.

Betula uses artificial intelligence technologies to understand and respond to calls, messages, and other requests.
For AI models accessed through LiveKit Inference, LiveKit provides Zero Data Retention (ZDR). Under this policy, prompts, audio, and model outputs sent through LiveKit Inference are used to process the request and are not retained by LiveKit or the underlying model providers for model training or improvement.

Betula does not use the content of your private calls, messages, conversations, or memories to train the underlying AI models.
This is separate from information Betula intentionally retains to provide features you use, such as conversation history, messages, recordings, transcripts, or information you ask your assistant to remember.
Betula may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account and assistant features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and applicable legal requirements.
Where deletion functionality is available, you may delete certain information through the Service. You may also contact us to request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
Betula uses third-party service providers to operate portions of the Service, including cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, AI processing, speech processing, and other supporting technologies.
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to Betula and are subject to their applicable contractual and data-protection obligations.
Where Betula uses AI models through LiveKit Inference, those inference requests are subject to LiveKit's Zero Data Retention requirements described above.
Certain Betula features may record or transcribe telephone calls or conversations.
Laws governing call recording, transcription, monitoring, and consent vary by jurisdiction. Betula may provide notices or other mechanisms where appropriate, but users are responsible for using the Service in compliance with applicable laws and obtaining any consent required for calls or conversations they initiate or configure through Betula.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
Access to call recordings and transcripts is restricted to authorized Betula personnel and only when necessary to troubleshoot technical issues, investigate customer-reported problems, or maintain the security and reliability of the Service.
However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically can guarantee absolute security.
We do not sell your private conversations or personal information to advertisers.
